He is great! He kept me engaged even at 8 AM. And I appreciated the opportunities to ask questions and hold discuss concepts.

The Global Economy: Trade and Development, Fall 2019

This course was very well balanced and easy to time-manage. The deadlines for HW and discussion assignments were always very attainable. I never felt overwhelmed with course material and assignments in this class, but I still was able to thoroughly learn the topics and fully understand the material. I believe the balance of work helps me to actively learn the material and enjoy doing it at the same time! I really enjoyed this class and I look forward to taking more ECON classes in the future.

Principles of Microeconomics, Summer 2020

Bok was so patient with all of his students and explained concepts multiple times when we didn’t understand. He also gave multiple workable examples so we could have a chance to practice and master the content. He very thoroughly explained each of those practice problems as well. He was very approachable and made it easy to ask questions without feeling judged. He genuinely wants all of his students to succeed. This was one of my most enjoyable classes by far.

Intermediate Microeconomics, Spring 2021

Bokseong's classes were always organized and he was able to explain relatively complicated economic concepts using simple, interesting examples; I would take a class with him again if possible

Intermediate Microeconomics, Spring 2020

The workload in this class is moderately heavy, however. Professor Jeong makes it very clear what his expectations on the assignments and works very hard to make sure his students achieve the highest grade possible that reflects the work put in on the assignment. He genuinely cares about making sure every student understands the material, and made class an enjoyable and fun place to be. He is a fair grader, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the well-being and success of his students inside and outside the classroom. Absolutely Great professor! One of my favorites I’ve ever had!

Intermediate Microeconomics, Spring 2021

Professor Jeong was an amazing instructor! He is truly passionate about his students and this is evident through his teaching efforts to ensure we are grasping topics and really understanding the material. He was ALWAYS very fast to respond to questions and was great at explaining things in a different way if you were having a hard time grasping the concept. Professor Jeong went above and beyond in his teaching style, accessibility, and support throughout this class. He is passionate and dedicated to teaching students and made the class very fun and enjoyable to be apart of. The University of Tennessee is very fortunate to have professor Jeong

Principles of Microeconomics, Summer 2020

Professor Jeong is one of the best professors I have ever had at UT. He makes sure you know the material and promotes class discussion on topics.

Intermediate Microeconomics, Spring 2020

Great teacher. He's very interactive and pulls students into his lecture with much more ease than most instructors. Very good at getting down on our level and not talking over us, though we know he is very smart. I would take him again in a heartbeat; wish he was teaching classes in my need nect semester.
